The Most Startling Idea of All

The Buddha in Drag

There is a startling idea which once rightly comprehended, shatters all illusions. This one single idea is so Earth shattering, so extraordinary, so revolutionary,  that everything that comes after it represents a remarkably different phase of life to that which came before. This is so because in one sense it involves the disappearance of the universe. Just imagine, if gold from a safe were to disappear, well . . . that would be a mystery, but if the entire universe disappeared that would represent the greatest mystery of all. Of course this is the level of mystery we are talking about here.

It must be of such great interest at this time that the polar opposites of religion and science have now found an accord in this Earth shattering idea. A clue.  This indicates that the human story is about to reach, to break through to a very new and interesting place. For the human story will by definition require the creative tension of opposites to continue. And so does the mystery deepen. The new perspective; the new position that we are about to discover; into which our consciousness is about to emerge – will inevitably amaze us all. So what is this most startling idea?

The startling idea is that the universe is not of material origin at all, but a material construction whose origin is consciousness. And there it goes, it vanishes in a puff of smoke. This is the conclusion of both spiritual revelation and quantum theory. The revolutionary realization is that we are . . . simply our-SELF. Nothing more, nothing less. In the deeper sense we are simply pure consciousness, unburdened by all of the cultural and constructed meanings, beliefs, references and ideas. All of the constructions which purport to bring us closer to ourselves such as religion, politics, education and many subtle forms of social and psychic conditioning may bring us to look at aspects of self, however just at the point where we are ready to realize that we are simply ourselves, all these things just get in the way. Knowing this you may have concluded that you are close to experiencing directly that you are . . . simply yourself. Then experience away! FREE from the burden of the cosmic or psychic bureaucracy.

The sobering fact, is that there is always the final journey.  We must ever and always walk the last mile home on our own.  That is not to suggest that God-Goddess or the angels or the saints are not with us. It is rather to suggest that to enter the deeper truth of who we are – simply ourselves – we must ultimately abandon the hierarchical, bureaucratic and institutional frameworks which purport to represent the truth and become that truth. This is why the master Jesus was able to truthfully declare I am the way and the truth and the light. He had somehow managed to experience himself as simply (him) self. It is the point at which the bud of individuality upon the human tree of consciousness bursts forth as the flower.

There is a paradox here because in order to get to that place generally we require some schooling, processes, the guidance that religions provide, lots of techniques . . . and so forth. But one day finally and at last we, each of us, must find our metaphorical Bodhi tree under which we shall sit, if not in open defiance of all institutionalized forms of learning, certainly in distinction to them and quite often in contradiction to them. The great paradox of liberated blasphemy. It is the intensely personal and revelatory journey represented so beautifully in the life story of St Francis of Assisi. He goes to Rome – the very symbol of institutional religion, as a bare footed beggar to present his revolutionarty and revelatory understanding to the Pope. If you have ever seen the beautiful film by Franco Zeferelli – Brother Sun Sister Moon, you will know well the outcome. Below are a few St Francis quotes that demonstrate his clear, present and radical consciousness. These are combined with statements attributed to some of our other great teachers. They stand in distinction to much of the old consciousness and constructions of the Kali Yuga, the Iron Age of ignorance. These words of wisdom point to new levels of consciousness and understanding which more people than ever are now demonstrating. The whole point is to get to that place where you can finally and at last speak this wisdom fresh with each breath of life within the living breathing cosmos. Here then is a sample from St Francis and others, remembering that one day you will make up your own in each moment of life.

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. – St Francis

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. – Buddha

I am formless and everywhere - Shirdi Sai Baba

With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible – Jesus

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection - Buddha

Get on with your worldly activities cheerfully, but do not forget God - Shirdi Sai Baba

Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words. St Francis

All that you see taken together is Myself - Shirdi Sai Baba

The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart - Buddha

Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love. St Francis

If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men – St Francis

God has agents everywhere and their powers are vast – Shirdi Sai Baba

You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free - Jesus

God is not so far away. He is not in the heavens above, nor in hell below. He is always near you - Shirdi Sai Baba

You have no cause for anything but gratitude and joy – Buddha

Hatred does not cease by hatred but only by love. This is the eternal rule – Buddha

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world – Buddha

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth

According to your faith be it unto you – Jesus

Getting ready to ride

Getting ready to ride

Life often plays little tricks on us where we will sometimes find ourselves thrown off center. Whoops a daisy! In truth she wants us to be able to see where our center may require realignment with the great axis of Love, beauty, truth . . .

As each of us strives towards deep spiritual sustainability we come to perceive the indicators and reflections, of the assurance that the essence of life will remain the eternal dependability. Sooner or later we come to deeply understand the great principle of sustainability.  There is a paradox in this: that we are always perfect the way we are.

The strange and bizarre fact is that the most powerful tool we have in guiding our journey is consciousness itself. Because the foundation of matter is consciousness and not the other way around, therefore if you want to guide your journey, be clear in your own heart and mind. Then when you make decisions, set goals, have a plan and strive to achieve . . .then there is some chance of success.  And we must do all this while practicing being the very soul of patience and remaining open to the sweet possibilities of  rEvolutionary change.

Master this game and you may proceed. And it is only and ever a game. Have fun! For this is the truest purpose of life. It’s kinda like learning to ride a bicycle -so just keep those wheels turning or get ready to touch the ground with your feet. And hey . . .that’s OK too.

As above so below. God rides a bicycle to the shops and always gets what she wants . . .and never ever forgets what is on the list even though she doesn’t need to have one.

Political Power in the USA – The Corporatocracy

3 01 2013
Corporatocracy = fascism. Comprendez vous?

Corporatocracy = fascism. Comprendez vous?

The central criticism of the United States of America has for some time centred on the corrupting and hypocritical relationship between big business and the agencies of government. The powers that be in the U.S. have long trumpeted that the justification for both foreign and domestic policy is that they have been keeping the world safe for democracy. Clearly, such a claim is now seen to be as hollow as organised crime kingpins saying that they are keeping the world safe for business.  To be sure there would be truth in the statement . . .but would it be a true statement?

Respected Columbia University Economist Jeffrey Sachs in his book The Price of Civilization is now laying it on the line. He only stops short of using the F word. Fascism. It’s what Americans cannot bear to hear about themselves. The fact that they are currently doing a very good job of imitating being the greatest fascist power on earth. But let’s look at what Sachs does say.

According to Sachs America is caught in a vicious cycle; the cracked record of the corrupt American system.

“Corporate wealth translates into political power through campaign financing, corporate lobbying and the revolving door of jobs between government and industry; and political power translates into further wealth through tax cuts, deregulation and sweetheart contracts between government and industry”

. . .in other words fascism.

Sachs point to four main sectors of US business that exemplify this vicious cycle and which underline the transformation of America into a Fascist society – he uses the phrase takeover by the corporatocracy which of course means exactly the same thing as fascism, just in more acceptable language. These four sectors are: 1) The military industrial complex 2) The Wall Street-Washington complex 3) The big-oil transport-military complex and 4) The (so-called) health-care industry. This last one some people might prefer to call the torturing people for profit in the name of medicine industry. Sounds pretty ugly? Well . . .what are you going to do about it?

What to do about this unholy mess? Well it may sound somewhat overly simplistic, however Dr Quantum would suggest that firstly having the awareness to be clear and honest about the current state of play is the first step forward. Closely followed by forgiveness and then last but certainly not least . . .having a regular schedule of co-creatively envisioning the positive, transformed, healthy future you wish to inhabit. This last part of the technique may well be derided by the intelligentsia - those materialistic, Marxist, intellectual atheists who are a feature of our institutions of higher learning. Many of these folks are enormously well intentioned individuals, in the same way that you will find people of noble sentiment in the Tea Party. But of course as it has been said – the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Quantum-wise the co-creatively envisioned and metaphysically projected positive future will do more to transform the world for the better than an endless stream of suicide bombers, torturing the projected “villains” – the enemy, and Uncle Sam’s drones and missiles and counter intelligence in the form of dis-information. The metaphysical approach may even be better than an endless stream of books – Gosh! However in the interests of sanity we must encourage education… regardless of how flawed the system may currently be.

Time to wake up.

A comment on the contemporary music industry

Is music finding it’s SOUL?

This post is a reply to Annie’s comment on Big Yellow Taxi and The Quantum Goddess

. . .sometimes as i hear the seemingly endless tide of automatic pop, junk music and disposable pap, I feel we have lost something. To balance that view perhaps we can also consider that there was also a lot of bad music made back then and we now have the luxury of selective listening. Nevertheless . . .it’s undoubtedly true that they’re not making music like they used to. There are certain complexities here that demand a deeper analysis. A laundry list of considerations follows 1) A lot of the great music that we love from that time (the 60s?) was the result of a hard-core commercial music industry. There is a relentless middle-of-the road factor playing out there. 2) The distribution channels for this music were, by today’s standards, limited and tightly controlled so what we are seeing is a very thin slice of possibility 3) Today’s commercial-industrial music is often pretty dire. House music and variants have spread virally into contemporary music so it’s hard to find pop music that hasn’t been robotized 4) There is good and even great music being made today. The advent of the internet and digital recording have brought musical production and global distribution into the reach of every-person. The results are far less tightly controlled than the music industry of the past 5) The profusion of both professional and semi-professional music available on global distribution platforms like Youtube, iTunes, Grooveshark et al means that a lot of music that was not released commercially previously and therefore carrying limited incentive for musicians to produce . . .is now available 6) New classical forms have emerged from contemporary musical culture. Classical meaning simply “excellent” music. Take for example Jazz. There is a lot of truly excellent jazz music being performed in little (and sometimes in BIG) places round the world. Add to this the influences of “world music”. 7) The bigger picture reveals a world in which consumers need to be more conscious, discriminating and aware of who they are being in relation to musical taste and consumption, and where and how they find, discover, share and celebrate and listen.  A great example is the busker or market performer. Just because they are close enough to reach out and touch or to say hello to, doesn’t mean they are not as fabulous as the famous and unreachable. This requires of us that we participate in the adventure of our own lives. If you want to break free of the restrictions the system develop some discrimination and discover what is quite likely in your own backyard. The music game has well and truly changed with more power in the hands of artists and audiences. This seems to be a journey in which we are all being given expanded opportunities and new cultural and personal responsibilities.

Rather than just talk about this as an abstract concept let’s provide an example of what is being said above. There is an excellent musician who goes by the name of Soulman O’Gaia.  Soul along with his beautiful muse and wife Kiora, does the troubadour rounds in Northern NSW and South East Queensland of Australia – out of a well traveled van. You wouldn’t hear him on commercial radio – he doesn’t have a commercial recording contract. Dr Quantum has enjoyed listening to Soul at various markets from Byron Bay to Eumundi. He has also appeared at Woodford and a variety of concerts in this area. Here is a musical treasure. I have heard Soul performing in a little open tent with ten or twelve other gobsmacked punters who were happening by. You can purchase Soul’s CDs at his little market stage for $20, or you can hire him for a private party or function or, and here’s the really amazing intersection to all this . . .you can listen to his music from anywhere in the world, or purchase his CDs online on his website. Joni Mitchell . . .must be considered a treasure and not just a national treasure of her native Canada but i think it’s fair to say of the world. She is indeed a Global Goddess. I can remember as a young teenager in the early 1970′s hearing her hit song Big Yellow Taxi all over the airwaves. Well they never stopped playing it, but back in the day I didn’t really get it. I mean it never really occurred to me just how wonderful Joni was – and of course will always be. She is a gift to the world. You can look at live recorded performances of Joni across the years and her amazing qualities of grace and sensitivity combined with sparkling brightness and musical genius highlight the simple and profound truth. It’s hard for us to imagine what a God or a Goddess might look like if rendered in the humble guise of a human being. Looking at Joni these days with the benefit of hindsight, it could easily be imagined that she is certainly a representative of the Goddess Saraswatti – the Goddess of The Arts, music, science (surely including healing) and knowledge, learning and literature. Meanwhile the message of Big Yellow Taxi is more relevant, poignant and urgent than ever. Here’s a peek at the Goddess and a celebration of a beautiful human being.

The CSIRO – Dealing in the GMO Black Arts

26 10 2012

Brought to You by The CSIRO

What I would like to be writing about is Yoga in the morning, the beauty of children’s smiles and the sacred gift of nature’s cathedrals. But instead I am having to write about hamfisted science at the CSIRO – Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation (Australia).

One of the truly disturbing things about this is that I grew up in this country to believe that we could trust CSIRO scientists to act ethically, knowledgeably and with a certain enlightened understanding in matters of scientific rigor and the public good. It now seems that such sentiments must be regarded with the same kind of scepticism once reserved for Santa Claus. It seems that CSIRO scientists have been dabbling in the black arts of genetic engineering in a way that would make even the evil empire of Monsanto blush. You see it seems that of late focus at CSIRO has been on seeking profitable outcomes rather than pursuing the public good. Where have we heard this before? And a conflict of interests of monstrous proportions has become as obvious as a pimp at a Love-in. Consider the latest genetic engineering nightmare being foisted on an unsuspecting and trusting public by those white coated gods to whom we have given, it would seem, far too much responsibility for our future.

According to Heidi Stevenson over at the Cancer is Curable Now blog, the CSIRO is developing a wheat species that is engineered to turn off genes permanently. After reading some of the straight science talk by likely experts in the field, Professor Jack Heinemann at the University of Canterbury’s Centre for Integrated Research in Biosafety and Professor Judy Carman of Flinders University,  the long and the short of it seems to be this.

Professor Jack Heinemannthe molecules created in this wheat, intended to silence wheat genes, can match human genes, and through ingestion, these molecules can enter human beings and potentially silence our genes. The findings are absolutely assured. There is no doubt that these matches exist.

The implications are clarified by Professor Judy Carman of Flinders University: If this silences the same gene in us that it silences in the wheat—well, children who are born with this enzyme not working tend to die by the age of about five.

It even gets worse because not only can this happen to YOU just from eating such GMO wheat  - a slow and horrible death from what we have been reading –  but furthermore you can and will pass on this terminated gene to your offspring should you ever be foolish enough or uninformed enough to have any. Once turned OFF this gene can’t be turned back ON. The result will be an enormous amount of disease, suffering and death. And it would be almost guaranteed to happen by stealth in such a way that Doctors would quite possible not even be able to readily diagnose the source of illness. Low energy, chronic fatigue, impaired immune functioning, large tumors. Sounds pretty normal for lots of people in our society doesn’t it? A new mystery illness that looks like all the rest. Great. Perhaps the intention is to honour Charles Darwin.

The good news for the rest of us is that this will tend to keep the population  down. The bad news is that these CSIRO wonks have could have come up with such a brilliant piece of manipulation of the genetic food code in the first place. We must ask ourselves how could this have been allowed to happen? And what next?  One is speechless at the breathtaking insanity of this whole ugly, hideous, horrible, nasty science-fuck. But it must be OK because it’s all in the name of making a dollar. Do you think? When will these psychopathic creeps learn? Well the answer is that they probably wont. Hence the need for our regulatory bodies to keep close watch. And here it seems is the real problem. They are all in bed together. We are forced therefore to invoke the F-word. Fascism. . . .by definition: The merger of corporate and state power. Be afraid.

Had some basic due diligence homework been done on this project it never would have reached the stage where Greenpeace activists felt it necessary to sneak into (one of) CSIRO’s GMO wheat test crops at night to destroy it.  Jesus and the saints are weeping. Maybe the eugenics conspiracy (depopulation by killing people through various means such as deadly GMO foods) theorists are right. Paranoia is one predictable and understandable response to this lunacy.  Where is Alan Jones when we need him? You can start shrieking like a lunatic running from a burning building now Alan (thanks to Mike Carton). If these pricks really wanted to make loads of money they should have gone into banking or perhaps arms dealing, – both of these things would be rated as more noble in tone than the efforts of our Frankenstein fellows back at the CSIRO lab.

But is is probably even more banal than the search for great riches on the part of the scientists. The need for public-private partnerships is a requirement built into the CSIRO Flagship research project guidelines. Sounds innocent enough, even noble, until you realize what that means. It’s called putting Dracula in charge of the blood bank. By now it may be starting to dawn on you that people are not going to be nice about it, not by a long shot. Perhaps the powers that be should consider increasing the amounts of flouride in the water, that should render us all stupid enough to not care. Despair, anger . . .rage. These are predictable responses. This still leaves the question of – what will be done about it?

Not happy Jan. Not happy CSIRO. Not happy Federal Government ministers who should have never allowed the situation to get to this stage. Socially and politically the responsibility is ultimately theirs. Who was supposed to be on watch? We need to find out and stop it from happening again.

The Cancer Cure That Could be Bad For You

17 10 2012

Jim Humble – saint or sinner?

Just received the latest CANCER Defeated! Newsletter.  If you’re like me you find it impossible to read every newsletter or blog that you subscribe to. So I do what most people do.  If the subject line really grabs me I will read more.  So here’s the latest subject line from CANCER Defeated!

This cancer miracle may be a bad idea

So what did I do? Of course I read the email! Because if there’s a “miracle” cancer cure out there that is actually a BAD idea . . .then for sure I want to know what it is. And what is this so-called miracle cure that might actually be bad? Well it’s something I have known about for a while. It’s Jim Humble’s Miracle Mineral Supplement or as it is known MMS. And here’s what the CANCER Defeated! people did. They said that while the FDA has warned people about MMS being dangerous, that in fact people might want to check it out for themselves. In fact they were helpful enough to provide a link to a free chapter of Jim Humble’s book titled Breakthrough The Miracle Mineral Supplement of the 21st Century. And you can link to that chapter right here. Free Chapter of Breakthrough The Miracle Mineral Supplement.

I have noticed that the various alternative health commentators who have an exception with the FDA are very careful not to get on the wrong side of the law by saying the wrong thing. The fact is you could end up in Jail. This is the same Government agency that tried so hard to put Dr Burzynski in Jail for coming up with a safe, side-effect free medical intervention for cancer. . .that works remarkably well.

Dr Burzynski – genuine cancer cure or genuine fake?

And you have to ask yourself: if they tried to put someone in jail for finding a medical cure for cancer that is quite safe and side-effect free, well . . . how can you trust them when they tell you to flush your Miracle Mineral Supplement down the toilet?

It may seem extraordinarily harsh to label the organisation that is empowered to regulate Food and Drugs in the United States of America as crypto fascist, but according to the most well accepted definition of fascism it is: the merger of corporate and state power.  Crypto means: having a secret allegiance. It seems the FDA may have been/ may still be, representing the commercial interests of certain large pharmaceutical companies (Big Pharma) instead of focusing on the actual good of the people. The problem with this if true is that it is not only deeply immoral but I can only hazard a guess, probably illegal. The fact is that if true, this could well mean that countless hundreds of thousands of Americans have suffered the horrors of various types of chemotherapy for the sake of the profits Big pharma. And there’s your crypto fascism right there.

And now the question is what are you going to do about it? What are we going to do about it? You see I live in a country – Australia – that pretty much just rubber stamps whatever lies the pharmaceutical companies, not to mention the likes of Genetic engineering cowboys such as Monsanto, want them to rubber stamp. One of our former prime Ministers – Malcolm Fraser – has said that Australia’s slavish following of American foreign policy is so obsequious that it is embarrassing. We just march off and fight every time Uncle Sam gives the nod. It is obscene when you think about it. America is fighting to keep the world safe for their brand of fascism? Why would anyone want to support that? Little wonder that certain folks are upset, regardless of how crude their methods of protest may be.

Now here’s what I do like about America. They stand – in the ideal sense – for freedom. It is in their genetics as much as is grubby materialism and killing your own grandmother for a buck. This ideal of freedom extends to religious as well as political freedom. So in all it’s multi-faceted complexity America still is ONE of the greatest countries on Earth. And what concerned people can do to heal the gaping wound of the American psyche now . . .is to become active, tell the truth about the shortcomings to yourself and others and to visualize, meditate and if you are so inclined pray for the positive way forward. The way of LOVE. These last three visualize, meditate and pray, will undoubtedly cause some to roll their eyes. And yet paradoxically from the quantumized perspective they may be counted as among the most effective cures for the post-post modern maladies of America. You better pray that is correct.

Growth – And What’s Wrong with The Media Anyway?

11 10 2012

Green Man – huge potential for growth

True Growth Potential Remains Unrecognized

Michael Feller (is that feller as in tree feller or feller as in bloke?) makes some dubious comments in the Sydney Morning Herald recently in an article that starts out appearing to condemn the God of Economic Growth and then makes a catastrophic error.

Media studies is required now more than ever. There are of course journalists and journalists and media outlets ditto. It must be remarked that while media organizations accept paid advertising their ability to tell it like it is will remain compromised. But this is based on a deeper issue; it is the issue of consciousness.

As far as reporting the truth and the ability to report it goes, it may be helpful to make the following observation.  People in a materialistic state of consciousness will perceive reality in a materialistic framework. And while the materialists often point to the evils perpetrated by the Churches and adherents down the centuries claiming this as proof that there is no spiritual existence, it’s a very weak argument and one which can be dismantled with some simple Aristotelian logic. You are encouraged to do the simple logical one-two-three step that disproves that fallacious argument. Onward.

To make it easy to grok the central premise we could go to Amit Goswami retired professor of physics from Berkeley California who will tell us that the basis of matter is not physical stuff at all. And being a professor of physics he might know a thing or three. Along the lines that this material world is the illusion and that the basis of matter is consciousness. So the materialists are the ones who have got it all wrong. Far from them having to suffer the smug attitudes of Greenies, vegetarians, bicycle riders, tree huggers, zen meditators and various transcendentalists, it is the sensitive spiritualists who have to suffer daily crucifixion by the dullards. Bless those bastards! You see the fact is that we get seemingly sane journalists like Michael Feller (is that feller as in tree feller or feller as in bloke?) making some fairly dubious comments in an article that starts out well enough and then makes a few catastrophic wrong turns.

Here’s what the Tree Feller says:

If a team of interplanetary anthropologists were to descend to earth in their spacecraft, they would notice that, like some distant tribe who worships a panther’s claw, a voodoo mask or the gnarled roots of an ancient tree, the human race has a strange fetish for growth.

Whereas past civilisations built their pyramids to gods who brought rain, or made the rivers flow, in ours we shop. The temple is the air-conditioned mall, where we occasionally have lunch on small rolls of tuna and rice – a tasty mix of the endangered and the engineered – before maxing out the credit card on clothes we don’t need to impress people we hate.  Michael Feller – Growth The False God of Economics SMH October 9, 2012

As the joke goes, like a hundred dead lawyers – it’s a good start.  But then a little further on his line of reasoning starts to go off the rails: he says . . . From the self-development books of Oprah and Tony Robbins to the world records in the Olympic Games, the act of standing still, or of tomorrow not being better than yesterday, is the ultimate sin.

Yes Mr Feller I can see where you’re going and . . .that’s right. Evolution and growth, the act and art of becoming more of who you are is the goal. However. . . when you have a materialistic conception of reality then you will feel compelled to express this innate expression of self by laying waste to large tracts of nature, bullying, bulldozing and erecting . . .factories, shopping malls, skyscrapers. This is also know as conquering nature. In a word . . .rape.

And it is here that Mr Feller, having wandered somewhat from the path goes off course for a 4 wheel drive bush bash par excellence.

Yet economics beyond growth is exactly what we need if some kind of equilibrium is to be restored in the domestic and global economy. . . .we essentially need a no-growth environment.  OK . . . . i’m still istening

But how can such an agenda be pursued?  he asks wondering about the viability of both Capitalism and Socialism. And then he delivers the coup de grace.

Is deep ecology the answer? Not if you don’t wish to wear a hairshirt. Reducing our standard of living to the level of people Bono sings about is never going to be popular. Ditto for primitivism, survivalism and fundamentalist religion as well.

Now . . .i am sorry Mr Feller but this is where I deliver a rant about the crude ignorance of materialistic boof-heads. Go ahead and make up up your own rant . . .NOW!. But hey . . .Mr Feller, I understand that you tried, heroically to say some stuff about how we need to take a critical look at the God of Economic growth, except that you’ve stuffed it up brilliantly. Oh well, what the hell.

Here’s what I would suggest are the main points and how they can be clarified, improved upon and corrected.

1) Growth IS actually GOOD, just not the cancerous growth that is the product of Western style materialism. But . . . you can still have environmentally sensitive and sustainable economic growth, it just needs to be sensitive and sustainable.

2) Growth needs to be re-defined as that which has an inherent and essential metaphysical character. From this point of view we can learn how to hug trees without feeling the need to wear a hair shirt or move to Bolivia. Unless you really want to. Deep Ecology, yes we need more of that. No hair shirt required, just a little emotional honesty.

3) Once we learn how to re-define growth from the point of view of material reality being based on consciousness (a la the quantum science of Amit Goswami et al) all of the elegant, congruent and harmonious perspectives of how we can profitably align with the universe (in the deeper as well as immediate sense) will become much clearer much more easily. This will occur through self-organisation of the geometry of the mind. When your vibratory rate of consciousness changes so will your world-view – through self organizing mental phenomenon. Oh yes this might just be too revolutionary for the pop-up toaster brigade. But that’s why we have laws in society. They are not there just to help the rich get richer. No! They are there to protect the sacred balance of life from boof-heads, dickheads and various wilderbeast.

4) Ultimately it’s a choice. It’s a choice between Love and Hate, between contracting with fear or expanding with love. It’s a choice between dominating the world and nature and having dominion in nature – which will require awakened consciousness. It’s a choice . . .and there ain’t nuthin wrong with Deep Ecology. Think about that next time you’re being hailed on, stormed at, flooded, burnt, singed and shrieked at in the feedback loop of infinity. Nature is very kind, kinder than you may imagine, and She is waiting for you to awaken to this very potent fact. Quantum Out.

Celebrate Global Birth Day on December 22

9 10 2012

We are moving with the Earth – It’s a SHIFT

Celebrate the SHIFT in 21012 with the Shift Network and Global Birth Day 2012

My friend Jan sent me the link to Birth 2012. Thanks Jan. Looks totally amazing and just the sort of thing we need more of right about now. Empowered, positive future directions and possibilities. The people behind this understand that we need to be seeing the positive futures and start declaring empowered belief in letting go of the old paradigm. They are people like Neale Donald Walsch, Jack Canfield, Lyn Twist, Barbara Marx Hubbard and  . . . no less than the great Ervin Laszlo himself. Quite a coup in the realms of the New Age spruikers you can be quite sure. The presence of Laszlo just assures any who may be in doubt that this is a high quality initiative with all the right people involved. Global Birth Day 2012 – the people and their website and YOU – is going to be participating, contributing in a meaningful way to the SHIFT that is needed and that is coming.  Destined to succeed. The future is for those who embrace it. Check it out now and fly forward into the miraculous. This is an application of positive quantum consciousness There’s a few points below (from their website also linked below) on just some of the stuff you can do with this initiative.
