There is a startling idea which once rightly comprehended, shatters all illusions. This one single idea is so Earth shattering, so extraordinary, so revolutionary, that everything that comes after it represents a remarkably different phase of life to that which came before. This is so because in one sense it involves the disappearance of the universe. Just imagine, if gold from a safe were to disappear, well . . . that would be a mystery, but if the entire universe disappeared that would represent the greatest mystery of all. Of course this is the level of mystery we are talking about here.
It must be of such great interest at this time that the polar opposites of religion and science have now found an accord in this Earth shattering idea. A clue. This indicates that the human story is about to reach, to break through to a very new and interesting place. For the human story will by definition require the creative tension of opposites to continue. And so does the mystery deepen. The new perspective; the new position that we are about to discover; into which our consciousness is about to emerge – will inevitably amaze us all. So what is this most startling idea?
The startling idea is that the universe is not of material origin at all, but a material construction whose origin is consciousness. And there it goes, it vanishes in a puff of smoke. This is the conclusion of both spiritual revelation and quantum theory. The revolutionary realization is that we are . . . simply our-SELF. Nothing more, nothing less. In the deeper sense we are simply pure consciousness, unburdened by all of the cultural and constructed meanings, beliefs, references and ideas. All of the constructions which purport to bring us closer to ourselves such as religion, politics, education and many subtle forms of social and psychic conditioning may bring us to look at aspects of self, however just at the point where we are ready to realize that we are simply ourselves, all these things just get in the way. Knowing this you may have concluded that you are close to experiencing directly that you are . . . simply yourself. Then experience away! FREE from the burden of the cosmic or psychic bureaucracy.
The sobering fact, is that there is always the final journey. We must ever and always walk the last mile home on our own. That is not to suggest that God-Goddess or the angels or the saints are not with us. It is rather to suggest that to enter the deeper truth of who we are – simply ourselves – we must ultimately abandon the hierarchical, bureaucratic and institutional frameworks which purport to represent the truth and become that truth. This is why the master Jesus was able to truthfully declare I am the way and the truth and the light. He had somehow managed to experience himself as simply (him) self. It is the point at which the bud of individuality upon the human tree of consciousness bursts forth as the flower.
There is a paradox here because in order to get to that place generally we require some schooling, processes, the guidance that religions provide, lots of techniques . . . and so forth. But one day finally and at last we, each of us, must find our metaphorical Bodhi tree under which we shall sit, if not in open defiance of all institutionalized forms of learning, certainly in distinction to them and quite often in contradiction to them. The great paradox of liberated blasphemy. It is the intensely personal and revelatory journey represented so beautifully in the life story of St Francis of Assisi. He goes to Rome – the very symbol of institutional religion, as a bare footed beggar to present his revolutionarty and revelatory understanding to the Pope. If you have ever seen the beautiful film by Franco Zeferelli – Brother Sun Sister Moon, you will know well the outcome. Below are a few St Francis quotes that demonstrate his clear, present and radical consciousness. These are combined with statements attributed to some of our other great teachers. They stand in distinction to much of the old consciousness and constructions of the Kali Yuga, the Iron Age of ignorance. These words of wisdom point to new levels of consciousness and understanding which more people than ever are now demonstrating. The whole point is to get to that place where you can finally and at last speak this wisdom fresh with each breath of life within the living breathing cosmos. Joni Mitchell . . .must be considered a treasure and not just a national treasure of her native Canada but i think it’s fair to say of the world. She is indeed a Global Goddess. I can remember as a young teenager in the early 1970′s hearing her hit song Big Yellow Taxi all over the airwaves. Well they never stopped playing it, but back in the day I didn’t really get it. I mean it never really occurred to me just how wonderful Joni was – and of course will always be. She is a gift to the world. You can look at live recorded performances of Joni across the years and her amazing qualities of grace and sensitivity combined with sparkling brightness and musical genius highlight the simple and profound truth. It’s hard for us to imagine what a God or a Goddess might look like if rendered in the humble guise of a human being. Looking at Joni these days with the benefit of hindsight, it could easily be imagined that she is certainly a representative of the Goddess Saraswatti – the Goddess of The Arts, music, science (surely including healing) and knowledge, learning and literature. Energy Minister of NSW (New South Wales, Australia) Chris Hartcher has accused the Environmental Defenders Office of helping activist groups hurt the coal and coal seam gas industries as part of a “left agenda to destroy the economy” Sydney Morning Herald, Nov 10 2012
The insane gross materialism of the mining industry is of course nothing new and certainly not limited to the right wing of politics. Of course! Chris Hartcher supports the Coal Seem Gas and coal industry. As did the supposedly left-wing former premier of Queensland Anna Bligh and her cohort. These individuals are certainly power junkies addicted, not only to power but compromise as well. In supporting the Coal and Coal Seam Gas industry they invite grave karma on the heads of the people whom they are supposed to be serving. Same same. Not enough people the world over – people in general and in politics specifically – wants to stand up and accept responsibility for carbon emissions and environmental destruction. And so it came to pass that . . . inevitably, a giant super-storm hurricane called Sandy slammed into New York and New Jersey not to mention Jamaica, Haiti and Cuba. The planet speaks to us not with the useless words of politicians but with the powerful force of nature. Guess whose point of view will prevail?
The reductionist scientific paradigm demands everything has to be measured. And so it is that the experts have their tape measures out measuring Hurricane Sandy. Was it or wasn’t it? Of course there is an important place for the type of reductionist materialism that this behaviour represents. Well . . .in our world there is a good place for it on account of the fact that in this era our consciousness is so dense and covered over that we seem thoroughly incapable of the kind of Earth wisdom that the native tribal peoples of say the Americas still have access to. And of course they are not the only ones.
There would be no trouble in certain circles to understand that super-storm Hurricane Sandy was caused by a lack of integrity and alignment with the soul of our living planet – Sanat Kumara in communion with the planetary Logos (AKA Goddess Gaia). Of course this sounds like gobbeldy gook to most Western ears. On the other hand any reasonable amount of research would suggest it may well be true. Most of the political types wouldn’t really understand that the planet is alive. . .so how can they understand the most basic facts of the matter? The disturbances that are being wrought by coal seam gas extraction and the resulting karma – the poisoning of aquifers and agricultural land for starters – will visit terrible diseases and calamities upon the people. The cautionary principle would seem to be the only hope for the power junkie block-heads who can see nothing subtle. But the fools have mostly abandoned this a long time ago in favour of their flavour of fascism. It’s all about the dollar and it would seem, scarce little else. This is the world we now live in.
These things must be talked about, not because the fools are about to change. Certainly telling them how foolish they are seems to have little or no effect. And it does ones own soul no good to point the finger of blame. The telling is simply a service in the Apocalypse – the lifting of the veil of secrecy and lies in a time of evil and corruption. This is the tsunami that has engulfed us. This is the total eclipse of our times. These are the end times prophesied in the bible and this is indeed the start of the New Age, the Golden Age. Prayer, meditation, being conscious, having a good heart and practicing the blessed unrest are among the most powerful resonators we have at our disposal. The new resonance is what will transform the logjam of the political power-junkies and business bad-asses. Their world will be swept away like matchsticks in a flood. What One person can do will be of little consequence and all of the consequence. Paradoxically enough. Coal Seam Gas extraction will soon be seen – in the not-too distant future – as one of the greatest environmental crimes ever perpetrated. This is a lime flavoured prediction. Those responsible for it will be held to account – both the politicians who allowed it and the business people who pushed it, who perpetrated it.
The real, deep issues of significance around coal and coal seam gas are of course blind to the political oligarchs who are today practicing a form of crypto-fascism. What does that mean? It means that the hidden agendas that drive these politicians – be it of the left or of the right – are really forms of fascism (merger of corporate and state power) hidden behind other more benign sounding and seeming narratives. These compromised power-junkies are leading their peoples off the cliffs of ignorance. It’s a long way down. Animal brain surrounded by something completely different
Do you know how to explain the brain to yourself? We are at a time in our history when the head-long rush into the future can be nothing short of blurringly blindingly brilliant. How does one make sense of all the details of the rEvolution that life throws us into? As you rush towards the event horizon like an astronaut making a crash landing on a strange planet . . .when do you have time to stop and consolidate your understanding? To make sense of your tapestry of experiences? Among other things if we know how to operate the brain more effectively we can make the journey a tad more manageable. And in the evolutionary game of life a slight edge can of course make all the difference to our outcomes. Apparently that edge leading to rEvolutionary outcomes may be found, in part, in the brain.
Was fortunate enough to attend a one day workshop with Dr Favardin Daliri – CEO of Tabarsi – at the Inspiration Garden on the weekend. He was presenting the mysterious science of both Quantum Theory and the new Science of the brain with a good helping of the spiritual dynamic thrown in. It seems that, given the massive emergence of this kind of consciousness with forward thinking people . . .this is what the future is going to look like. Integrated science and spirituality.
What nuggets of GOLDEN understanding and enlightenment did we discover? Well look . . .on the one hand we might say that it’s nothing we haven’t heard before, but in fact perspective and sequence is profoundly important to our perception. Dr Daliri puts together the material for this emergent holistic understanding in a way that is quite excellent, and that excellence includes useful. The power of emergent phenomena is the power to transform the world. That’s the news from Chaos Theory . . .the Butterfly Effect. So what did Dr Daliri say?
The limbic system is the ancient part of the brain that is concerned with the adrenalin rush of fight or flight. There’s a whole bunch of glands and sections in there that equate to the animal side of our nature. The chest thumping, the high octane responses to kill or be killed, the outlandish and unintellectual primitive rituals of belonging – just like the American election campaign – these are all being driven in and from the ancient part of our brains that is concerned with survival, fighting and putting on a display of aggression. But there is a higher side to our nature which may be thought of as having a home base in the frontal lobes, which are in fact very large. They are the big pink bits in images that you see wrapped around the (primitive and smaller) complex that sits on top of the brain stem.
When you get stressed basically the old animal part of our brains can all too easily hijack our whole life with a stress session to rival knowing you are having dinner with your new in-laws. Not stressful enough for you? OK you just got a bill from the tax department for twenty thou. Yep. That’ll do it. And the problem is (according to Dr Daliri) that your whole state of conscious being tends to go into a negative spiral of panic, stress, worry and maybe even something that may look like hopeless despair. The popularity of Yoga and meditation not to mention booze and tranquilizers is easy to understand in this light. In a stressed out state it’s hard to think straight, eat right or do what needs to be done to deal effectively with whatever reality you might have playing.
According to Dr Daliri one important part of your strategy must be to get out of the stress reaction and to do this you need to find a way to by-pass the limbic system – for A TIME. You need to shut down the brain computer of stress which has gone into a spiraling out of control sequence. Instead focus on something pleasant, pleasurable and comPelling. This short-circuits the stress reaction and gives you an opportunity to re-pattern the sequence thus leading to vastly more positive outcomes. Of course we are, at any time, at liberty to bring the great spirit into the equation. Call on the Quantum Goddess to calm the quixotic quagmire, pray to the infinite almighty for re-alignment, ask Jesus to jolly well jump in jubilation of your future successes. Bat the ball to the Buddha of brilliant beauty. Stand tall in the garden of Spiritual Science and supplication. Vision the blessed outcome you desire as a done deal and say THANK YOU. And hey . . . you might as well eh?
By the way . . .Dr Quantum’s Lime Flavoured rEvolution suggests that a very powerful method to achieve the limbic by-pass would be to IMAGINE doing something pleasurable and to bring the spiritual INTO THIS IMAGINING. That’s my hot tip for de-stressing. IMAGINE playing the piane. IMAGINE surfing a wave. IMAGINE being on the beach in a tropical paradise. You get the picture and bring in the God of your understanding. He/She will not mind a bit. Invite the spirit.
Then come back to the challenge with a fresh perspective and with Mother Mary in your corner. You might as well eh?!! The simple spiritual formula is to ask for help on a metaphysical level. Just tell your ego to get with the program . . . and give it a go. All together now . . .

Hurricane Sandy is the force of nature we had to have. Unfortunately. All the suffering in this freakish storm is of course tragic. Yet we may be assured that there is, without a doubt, worse and more to come. This must be a deeply sobering reflection. As we watch the great city of New York being battered, flooded and besieged it may start to dawn on some of the climate change deniers and laggards that change is now inevitable. It is now dawning on increasing numbers of people that the price of doing nothing will be greater than the price of change. Recent opinion polls suggest that the issue of climate change and global warming was becoming a bit of a bore for many in the UK, Australia and the USA. Now there will be a shift in public opinion and therefor renewed political will for change.
In Chaos Theory AKA The Butterfly Effect the butterfly flapping its wings is said to be the initial (small) condition that will lead to a (much larger) change – the hurricane. Well now we can see the hurricane as the butterfly. One large storm is a relatively small event when taken in context with the enormity of changes that this will precipitate. There are too many words required to describe all the problems we now face. Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere is simply the tipping point of our accumulated transgressions against the great spirit. Mankind it seems is learning some harsh lessons on the way to achieving the consciousness and frequency of loving harmony with the cosmos. As people sense the escalating catastrophe(s) that selfishness, greed, corruption and apathy have brought to our door many will feel that the situation must change while others – perhaps out of fear, shame or grief will feel that it is hopeless.

Here is the simplest fact of the matter. The catastrophic change state will lead to a re-balancing. For those who need to nurture their souls at this time, and who are wondering how to begin to change, the solution is profoundly within each individual. There are four basic steps to change. 1) Recognize your own faults. 2) Acknowledge that they are yours. 3) forgive yourself and others. 4) Start to nurture and hold a vision of how you would prefer your life and the future of the world to be. Sounds simple, and it can be. It is the blessed journey of a lifetime. By all means . . .make change and transformation a creative celebration of who you are going to be in the new dawn of time; in the re-birth of yourself. The rainbow of promise that the wholeness holds eternally is for all of the travelers in the creation. For no matter how far you may wander from home, the candle is always burning in the window of miracles and grace. Laugh if you want to. This is not a religion. It may be far from it. And there is no romance in this and all the romance that any of us can handle.

A university in France must take the credit for the first ever study to examine the long-term effects of eating GMOs. The Monsanto Corn accompanied by trace elements of Monsanto’s chemical roundup produces hideous cancers in a large percentage of rats. The results, commentary and explanation are available for all who care to read them and linked further on in this post. It is ironic but not surprising that the study was conducted in France and not the USA as you might expect. After all the USA is the powerhouse home of biotechnology and genetic modification of food. But it seems they are also the home of the GMO industry bribing politicians, rigging research data, corrupting congress through lobby groups and engaging in criminal acts all for the purpose of foisting often deadly and poisonous foods on the public so they can make profit.
University of Caen’s study was lead by Gilles-Eric Seralini and results published in the Food and Chemical Toxicology Journal. Monsanto now stands convicted by the jury of scientific fact as well as of public opinion. It is little wonder that Monsanto have been voted the most hated corporation in the world for 11 straight years.
Concerned citizens of the world must now express outrage and astonishment that the type of research done by the Seralini team in France was not in point of fact conducted within the USA. This should have been enforced by the USA government to whom ultimate responsibility must fall. Instead what we have is footage of George Bush Snr in a Mopnsanto lab (in the documentary Food Inc) handing out his business card and encouraging them to call him if they need help getting anything passed. We’re in the de-reg business was his infamous comment. It is utterly reprehensible and disgraceful, an infamy that will be his legacy. It is after all the sacred duty of governments . . .to govern. Instead of good government and good governance what has been demonstrated in the USA is that the tentacles of fascism now threatens the health, welfare and safety of its peoples because of cowboy GM activity. And we haven’t even got started here with the cancer industry or the banking sector. This is not cliche, rhetoric or hysteria. Au contraire, it is simply to state an unpalatable but obvious truth.
